Eversince Jaden came along, Mummy has been keeping a sharp lookout for all sort of sales. From baby clothes, to diapers to toys etc. There are just so many things to buy for a baby :)

And, here are the toys that Mummy bought from the Isetan Private Sale...

Missed...

Whenever Jaden visited the PD, the nurse at the clinic will take his weight and length. So as usual, Jaden was weighed and measured, last week during his vaccination visit. He weighed 7.7kg and measured 68cm.

Accordingly to Dr Heng, Jaden's weight was above average. Hmm... not sure if that means overweight but doctor said it was not a concern.

Daddy decided to buy 4D using Jaden's weight and length. The two permutations he bought were 7768 an 6877. Well, Daddy didn't strike the jackpot on Saturday and Sunday.

Guess what, the number came out on Wed (21 May) instead. And, it was the first prize!!! But, Daddy forgot to buy the number for Wednesday!!!! Daddy was so disappointed, to be more accurate, his heart was aching. It is not easy to strike the lottery and what's more, it is the top prize.

Hope Daddy has better luck next time :)

Flip, flip and flip

After Jaden made his first flip in April, he sort of stopped flipping for the next two weeks. At that time, Mummy concluded that Jaden probably is contented with the fact that he can flip and need no further practice.

Alas, Mummy was wrong about it. Since last week, Jaden has been doing his flips so often that Grandma, Grandpa, Mummy and Daddy were kept busy throughout the weekend watching over him.

Jaden will flip whenever he realised that nobody is playing with him. He will flip over, in an attempt to see what's happening around him. After a while, he will make the "eh eh" sounds cos' he wants to lie on his back again but he doesn't know how to flip back yet.


Then the cycle begins over and over again. Flip, "eh eh", put back on back, and then flip again. Jaden has mastered his flip quite well; he can flip almost instantly now. And yes, he will try to flip while sleeping too.

TV

Mummy and Daddy realised that Jaden likes to watch television. He likes to turn to the TV, looking intensively, as if he is watching the programme.


No.. he isn't laughing at the programme :P
It's just Mummy making Jaden laugh :)

Winnie

Ouch!

Jaden went for his 2nd 6-in-1 injection vaccination shot today. Surprisingly, he didn't cry at all! He struggled a bit when the needle went in and he didn't cry even when the needle was out. What a brave boy!

The paediatrician, Dr Heng, said that Jaden has eczema. His cheeks and chin are red and look dry and scaly. There are also some rash on his body and legs. Dr Heng prescribed a fragrance and soap free body wash and moisturizing lotion for Jaden.

Hope Jaden regains his smooth and tofu like skin soon.

Drumstick

Jaden is four months old today. According to a Chinese custom, a four month old baby should eat a drumstick to signify that he/she can now start eating food.. meaning real food and not just milk.


Of course, there's no way Jaden can eat a drumstick at this age. So, mummy just brushed the drumstick across Jaden's mouth slightly. He seems a little puzzled but he didn't fuss about it. Hope Jaden is not fussy about food next time :)

So sweet.

Last week, Mummy and Daddy brought Jaden to PASTA de WARAKU for lunch.
After settling down, the staff gave Daddy a small gift and said it was for the baby. Mummy thought that it was a very sweet gesture. It was a pair of magnetic mushroom clips. So Kawaii!

Jaden was rather cooperative during the meal. He slept throughout and only woke up when Mummy finished her food. But he got a little cranky towards the end and kept whining.

Jaden only stopped crying when Mummy brought him out and showed him the pasta displays. Guess, Jaden must be so intrigued by the colourful displays that he forgot about crying :P
