Jaden was down with fake measles last week. He had a fever and when the fever subsided, tiny red rashes appear on his abodemn and back. So we brought him to his PD on Saturday and it was confirmed that he had fake measles.
Although no mediation was required, we decided to take the skin lotion so that the rashes will disappear faster.
It was a super duper hot Saturday (I think it was 34c) but that didn't deter us from making our way to the zoo. We would rather go to the zoo on a sunny day than a rainy day. Jaden wasn't very interested in the animals. But well, we didn't see a lot of animals too :( The polar bear was sleeping while we were there. Most of the animals were resting in the shade. Jaden was more interested in running around and exploring the place. Does Jaden look nice in his hat? Jaden has more fun at the Rainforest KidzWorld. First, the rabbits and next the ponies. We decided to let Jaden feed the goats since it was feeding time. As it was Jaden's first feeding experience, I wasn't sure if he would be afraid. So I showed Jaden how he can feed the goats. And, he loves to feed the goats!! He wasn't afraid of the goats at all and got really excited about feeding them with carrots, long beans and leaves. We have to keep a watchful eye on him and the goats, just in case the goats got too excited and bite him :P Jaden kept wanting to feed them even when we emptied two buckets of food. The food for the goats has to be purchased. It is at $2 a bucket. We know that Jaden will not get tired of the feeding and so we quickly whisked him away before he kicked up a fuss.
Well, that's the key highlight of our zoo trip - feeding goats:)
Jaden went on his first Singapore Flyer ride. He doesn't seem to notice the height nor appear afraid of it. I guess he is still too young to feel fear. Well, although I wasn't afraid of heights technically, my feet still feel a bit wobbly as I stood near the glass panes:P
A family picture :) My little daredevil at play. Jaden: Can I join in the picture, please? I like this picture the most :) Jaden likes playing with the gadget. A 30-minute ride in the Flyer tends to get a bit boring after a while. Jaden got a bit impatient and we have to entertain with with my hardy handphone which never failed to get his attention. I have to give credit to my phone as it is still in relatively good working condition despite suffering major 'hits' and 'falls' often. Jaden loves the opening theme song of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and wants to dance to it! Hmm... when did Jaden learn this 'squatting' pose? Unglam....
