Improvement

Well, Jaden still cried at the centre this morning but accordingly to the teacher, things are definitely better than yesterday. When he was not crying, Jaden played alongside with some of his friends in school today. He probably forgot about the crying for a while then :)

The teacher said that he managed to eat his lunch today, probably because it was his favourite food, porridge. At first, he didn't want to eat but after seeing the rest of his friends eating happily, he too decided to join them.

However, Jaden also hurt his fingers in school today. Apparently, his fingers were hit by a cabinet door when he was playing. Don't really know how it happened but his two fingers (ring and pinky) were red and slightly swollen :( Poor boy.

Child Care

Today is Jaden's first day at the Child Care Centre. Strictly speaking, it is his fourth day at the centre but his first day without Mummy and Daddy by his side. Well. of course he cried and he cried the whole time he was there :(

We didn't place him there for the whole day since it was the first time Jaden is away from his caregivers. He cried so hard that he fell asleep and didn't have lunch. When we went to fetch him from school, Jaden gave me the cold shoulder!! He didn't look at me and ignore me. Naughty, naughy boy...

But every child has to go through this phase. Even if we choose to send him to the Centre when he is older, he will still go through this 'crying' phase. Let's hope that he will get used to the idea of school soon...
