Bintan

We went for a short family trip to Bintan during December. Although the trip was short, it was still a tiring and exhausting journey especially when you have an active 23-month-old with you.

The king of the trip. Our programme revolves around his nap and meal times :P

From climbing the stairs to refusing to get out of the pool, Jaden seems to be full of energy at all times.

Jaden giving directions in the pool. Gung-ho Jaden standing in the middle of the pool.

Intense.

A point to note about this trip is that: Children don't seem to get seasick. On the ferry home, the sea was so choppy that everybody on the ferry was feeling nauseous and giddy. But my little boy was so unaffected and even ran around the ferry after he got tired of watching his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Well, there were no pictures of him running around cos' Daddy was already trying his best not to puke while chasing after Jaden on the ferry. And taking pictures was the last thing on my mind at that time.

Jaden: Why, I can't be fascinated by the luggage belt?

An afternoon at Marina Barrage

Jaden at the water playground at Marina Barrage. Well, we had no plans to let him get wet but he felt that the water features were too good to be missed.

Fishing

We brought Jaden for his first fishing trip sometime in November. Ahem, never mind that it is just "lokang" fishing in a small pond:P

All set and ready to fish!

We were glad that we were at the Qianhu Fish Farm on a weekday, otherwise, we'll have a hard time keeping an eye on Jaden.

Let's start fishing.

Daddy holding Jaden back as he leaned too close to the edge of the pond.

After a while, Jaden decided that he has enough of fishing and started pouring all the fish that Daddy had painstakingly caught back into the pond.

Actually, Daddy was more interested in catching the fish than Jaden and he seemed determined to catch as many fish as possible.

The catch.

Well, I opted for something less strenuous that day -feeding the koi with Jaden. Hee.

Career options?

Well, these pictures are actually taken a few months ago but I was too busy and lazy to post them till now. Since, it was a while ago, I'll just leave you guys to enjoy the pictures.

Tea master in the making?

Make way for the F1 driver!

Coming Soon...

Father and Son

Father and son moment.

Porridge

Jaden's favourite food: porridge.

Jaden: Give me my porridge anytime!

Oh, and Jaden does not take bread.

School Uniform

As promised, here's my little rascal in his uniform.

A dip in the pool

It's has been a while since we went to the pool. Perhaps, that's the reason why Jaden was a little apprehensive in the pool.

A relaxing moment for the two of us.

Doesn't Jaden look mischievous when he sticks out his tongue?

Enough?

Presenting... Jaden's cups and bottles. Yes, these are all his.
Don't ask me why he needs so many, well, things just happen :P

School is In

Jaden has attended two weeks of child care and he is adapting well. In the beginning of this week, he still cried and struggled when arriving at the centre. At first, he was wailing. Then as the days went by, it became a whimper, followed by wet eyes and eventually, the crying stopped. Yipee!

We have bought his uniforms and will definitely be posting the pictures later on.
For now,
here are some pictures that we took secretly while he was having lunch during the first day. Jaden is not really self-feeding; he is just 'playing' with his food :)

* Mummy has blurred the backgrounds cos' she felt it may not be very nice to show other kids in the pictures without seeking their permission.
